Hi all,

I have an environment where I have ISA 2006 STD installed.
I have a domain with Proxy and Firewall autodiscovery enabled.

My clients in my domain works with Proxy and Firewall Client without nay
problem.

When I try to connect another PC that is not in my domain I have this
problem.
IE works perfectly because it asks for credential, but firewall client seems
to be deactivaed (red cross on the Firewall Client Icon) with an error like
this one (I try to translate from Italian):
"Unable to authenticate to isa server"

Is there any way to force the client to ask for credentials?

Best regards,

Fabio

No; there is not.
You'll have to create a "mirrored" account on the ISA for that non-domain
account.

Create same user account in ISA server with same password

For instance if abc user is logged in non-domain machine then create abc local user account in ISA server and give same password to it
